  Where is my order?

UBE fills and ships orders Monday through Friday.  In general you should expect that your order will be filled and shipped in 1-2 business days.

NOTE: UBE does not guarantee the services of USPS.

  How do I make a change to my order?

Please be advised that once your order has been shipped you can no longer make any changes to your order.  Typically you can only make a change to your order within 24 hours of your order being placed.  Even then, we regret to say, we cannot guarantee that your order change request can be granted.

Please refer to our Online Sales Policy for more information on canceling or returning an order.

 


  I am having trouble placing an order. What should I do?

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulty ordering from our website.  Here are a few tips that may help.



  1. If you are adding items to your cart and your cart is still empty then check to make sure you have cookies enabled.
  2. If you are paying by credit card make sure that your billing address matches the information on your billing statement.  Students, this is usually your permanent address.

  What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password a new one can be emailed to you by clicking here.  You can then change that password by clicking on account details.


My credit card was charged twice – what should I do?

Pressing the "Submit Order" button more than once can result in duplicate charges. To ensure that you do not place a duplicate order please make sure to only press the Submit Order button once. Then please be patient as we attempt to authorize your credit card. If you believe that there is a duplicate charge on your credit card please Contact Us . We will look into the charge and if it is a duplicate we will reverse the duplicate charge and remove the duplicate order. Please be sure to include your order number when you contact us.





  Online Sales Policy

North Carolina law requires us to collect a 8% sales tax on all orders shipped within the state.

All sales are subject to our current refund policy.  If you have questions about the refund policy, please email us using the "Contact Us" link.

When selecting the in store pickup option please allow one business day for your order to be processed.

For purposes of interpreting Refund Policy deadlines, your return or exchange's effective date is the date you ship it back to us.  A cancellation is effective on the date on which we receive your cancellation request, if the order has not shipped.

If you wish to cancel your order, or to return or exchange, within the dates set forth in the Refund Policy, and:

Your order has not yet shipped: Email us using the "Contact Us" link.
Your order has shipped, but you have not received the order:
  • Email us using the "Contact Us" link; and
  • Refuse the shipment when it arrives.
Your order has shipped, and you have received your order:
  • Email us using the "Contact Us" link; and
  • Follow the shipping instructions below.

When emailing us regarding a return, please include your name, your address, the date on which you purchased the order,if the order contained textbook please include textbook titles, and why you wish to cancel your order or to return or exchange.

Pack your return securely with a copy of the receipt.  We recommend that you use a trackable shipping method, such as UPS.  We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages.  Ship your return to us at the following address:

We cannot be responsible for packages which are misdirected due to a failure to use the entire suggested address.

We will refund the purchase price of your returned merchandise in the form of a credit back to the credit card you used to purchase the items.  We will not refund shipping and handling fees unless we were in error.

Last day to return textbooks for dropped courses is
OCTOBER 6, 2009.
(REQUIRES RECEIPT AND DROP SLIP)

Return your textbooks within 24 hours for 75% of the purchase price.
New books with writing receive 50% of the purchase price.

NO FULL REFUNDS ON TEXTBOOKS.
ALL BOOK RETURNS MUST BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

 

All refunds and exchanges are at the discretion of management.




  Shipping

Most orders are sent out within 1-2 business days.  This excludes holidays and weekends.  Choosing an express shipping minimizes delivery days, not order processing days.  Please contact us if you need your order sent immediately.  Please note that this does not guarantee your order will be sent out that day.

 

We make every attempt to not list out-of-stock items.  If your order contains an item for which we are currently out-of-stock your order will be adjusted and your credit card will only be charged for items sent.

In the event of a credit card problem, we will email you immediately to inform you of the situation.  We will then wait up to 10 business days for your response and then email you once more before canceling the order.


We do offer other shipping services; please call for details.


We do offer an in-store pickup option for online orders. Please allow one business day to process in store pickup orders.
